TECH/DRESS REHEARSAL - Paradise PAC goes to TV LAND

Our show is approaching quickly and so we wanted to send you some important information.
Please also let us know if you know anyone interested in helping backstage during the performance day!

**We have a professional photography and videography team coming to capture the big performance day!
You can pre-order and pay for your DVD of the “Paradise PAC TV LAND” show during PPAC business hours!
See our front desk worker for questions! Otherwise, there will be a sign-up list to order and pay for DVDs on Performance day in the lobby area!** DVDs are $20.00

All rehearsals as well as the show, will be held at the Palace Theater in Hilo.

Please save these dates and mark them in your calendars:

Thursday May 10th at 4pm will be our MANDATORY Dress/Tech Rehearsal #1

There is a lot of tech involved with this show, including; live music, screen backdrop, and multiple mics, and sound cues.
Please plan on staying for a while this night.  It’s always difficult to say how long tech rehearsals will last.  It is a school night and we will keep this in mind.  We will be running our rehearsal in order of the show.  You may want to plan on packing dinner, snacks, and water for your child – but please no eating in costume.

Please arrive early as we intend to start on time. Each class will be permitted a maximum 15 minute time slot to run their rehearsal. If a class completes rehearsal early, the next class will be allowed to start early. Parents are not required to stay, however we welcome your assistance while your child is waiting for their turn to practice. This is also an opportunity for your child to practice in their costume and see some of the other performances in the show! Please bring all costume pieces. Dancers will be permitted to sit in the theater and watch the other groups perform until it is their turn.

Saturday May 12th at 11am will be a Dress Rehearsal #2 (the day of the show) 

We will run the entire show and work out any kinks that remain. Please have your child in their designated areas backstage. Students should find their instructor for the first dance they perform in for the show. Be sure to bring plenty of water to keep hydrated. Most performers will be held behind the theater under a large tent. Please bring a chair or towel to sit on.
Don’t forget to stretch!

Saturday May 12th at 6pm is our PERFORMANCE, CALL TIME IS 4:30.
Again, Please have your child arrive in makeup and costume and be in their designated areas backstage. Students
should find their instructor for the first dance they perform in for the show. Be sure to bring plenty of water to keep
hydrated. Most performers will be held behind the theater under a large tent. Please bring a chair or towel to sit on.
Don’t forget to stretch!

Please try your very best to have your child be at every class until our performance date.  We have very few rehearsals left and we want to make sure we are very well prepared :). Please contact your child’s teacher, or the front desk staff, if you have any questions!
